About GameScanAI
GameScanAI is a free, AI-powered gaming intelligence platform that helps PC and console players find the right game for their hardware, budget, and taste — all in one place.
Our Mission
We started GameScanAI out of a simple frustration: finding out whether your PC can run a game — and whether you are paying a fair price for it — used to mean visiting five different websites, reading conflicting forum posts, and still ending up uncertain. We wanted to solve that problem once and for all.
Our mission is to give every gamer, regardless of their budget or technical knowledge, instant access to accurate hardware requirements, real-time prices, and community-driven discovery tools. We believe that better information leads to better gaming experiences — fewer wasted purchases, fewer disappointing downloads, and more time actually playing.
What GameScanAI Offers
GameScanAI is not just a search engine. It is a full gaming intelligence hub built around four pillars:
Smart Game Search
Search across Steam, IGDB, and RAWG simultaneously. Get system requirements, screenshots, descriptions, release dates, and Metacritic scores in a single unified view.
PC Specs Checker
Enter your CPU, GPU, and RAM — or let our auto-detect find your dedicated graphics card automatically. We compare your build against real benchmark data, not just paper specs.
Live Price Tracking
We pull real-time discount data from over a dozen stores including Steam, Epic Games, Fanatical, Humble Bundle, and IndieGala so you always buy at the best price.
Gaming News & Calendar
Stay up to date with the latest esports news, game announcements, and a full release calendar showing exactly what is coming out and when.
XP & Leaderboard
Earn experience points by searching for games, completing quizzes, and engaging with the platform. Climb the leaderboard and compete for monthly Steam key giveaways.
Jarvis AI Assistant
Our built-in AI assistant can answer gaming questions, suggest titles based on your preferences, and help you navigate the platform — available 24/7 in the chat widget.
The Technology Behind GameScanAI
GameScanAI aggregates data from three major gaming databases in real time:
- Steam — the world's largest PC gaming platform, providing hardware requirements, pricing, and player reviews for tens of thousands of titles.
- IGDB (Internet Game Database) — a comprehensive database maintained by Twitch that covers games across all platforms, genres, and release windows dating back decades.
- RAWG — an extensive game discovery database with ratings, platform availability, genre tags, and editorial metadata for over 500,000 games.
On top of these data sources, we run our own compatibility analysis engine. Rather than simply showing you a "minimum / recommended" table copied from the game's store page, our system assigns tier scores to your hardware components and compares them against verified benchmark data. This means a gamer with an NVIDIA RTX 3060 gets a more honest and useful compatibility answer than just "meets recommended specs."
Our price aggregation pipeline is powered by CheapShark, an independent price-tracking service that monitors deals across more than 30 digital game stores in real time. We surface the best deals and sort them by actual discount quality, not just raw percentage.
Privacy & Data
GameScanAI does not sell your personal data to third parties. The platform uses Google Firebase for user authentication and profile storage, and Google AdSense for advertising. You can use the site fully anonymously without registering — registration only unlocks the XP system and personal library features.
We are committed to transparency. Our full privacy policy is available on the Privacy Policy page, and our terms of use are outlined in the Terms of Service.
Get Involved
GameScanAI is a growing platform and we are always looking for collaborators — whether you are a gaming journalist, a developer with ideas for new features, or simply someone who wants to report a bug or suggest an improvement.
We read every message we receive. If you spot incorrect data, a missing game, or a feature that would genuinely improve your experience, please reach out. Community feedback is the primary driver of our development roadmap.
